BALLS, BULLETS & BOOTS - Museum visit for ANZAC 5/4/16

They shall not grow old, as we that are left to grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning 
We will remember them.

Today my class went to the museum to learn about balls bullets and boots one thing that i learnt was that the leather rugby ball 100 years ago is double the weight when it gets wet. Also today my whole class made a periscope. (Bradley)

Today my class went to the museum and we made some periscope and i was so lost with the paper cutting. (Parerimu)

Today taeotu 3 went to the museum and learnt about anzac and we made a periscope made out of cardboard paper and 2 mirrors we had fun at the museum. (Tessa)

Today Te Aowheoro, Sugar and I learnt about the olden day rugby team and who we thought was stronger out of the all blacks these days or the olden days. We also got to make periscopes and dress up like soldiers. (Zara)

Today we went to the balls bullets and boots exhibition we were learning about the differences between soldiers now and soldiers during the war. (Kaiba)

Today for kaupapa our class went to the museum to learn about the difference between our All Blacks we have today and our first All Blacks team. We also learnt about the things that they went through and how the war made them the men. We also got to make our own periscope. (Te Awhetau)
